We need your help. We are a campaign of the Brockton Interfaith Community trying to obtain freedom for our friend, an African American man, William Allen, has been in prison for 26 years for his participation in an armed robbery in which a murder took place. William was convicted by a jury of first degree murder, under a legal doctrine that has since been largely eliminated, even though he did not commit a murder. He has been a model inmate and in recent years he has been working as part of the prison’s Companion Program helping men with serious mental illnesses. He is a truly a kind, wonderful person who has been fully rehabilitated and is asking for a second chance. We are raising funds to raise a ruckus through social media and other marketing initiatives to convince the Governor to commute his sentence, and in doing so, open the commutation process so that other deserving inmates can also apply. Can you help us with a tax free donation to the Justice for William Campaign?
